Leider ist es so, dass die Kanadier hier auch mal gerne strenger auftreten. Ich hatte dieses Mal wohl etwas Gl\u00fcck gehabt. Mein Gegen\u00fcber erwies sich als ziemlich lockerer Bursche. Vielleicht lag es auch daran, da am 11.11. in Calgary Feiertag war.<\/p>\n<p>Eine Sache trieb mir jedoch ein leichtes Schmunzeln auf die Wange. Auf die Frage, welche Augenfarbe ich h\u00e4tte, blickte der Beamte nicht hoch und meinte nur \u0084Blau!\u0093. Wahrscheinlich lag es daran, dass ich als Deutscher einfach blaue Augen haben musste. Als ich darauf dann meinte, dass ich gr\u00fcne h\u00e4tte, meinte er dann \u0084Blau-Gr\u00fcn!\u0093<\/p>\n<p><strong>English<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you are working in Canada, you need a temporarily work permit which you get at the airport. Unfortunately the Canadian Immigration Officers are strict. But I am lucky with my officer. He was very friendly. Maybe it was because on my arrival day there was a public holiday in Calgary.<\/p>\n<p>But there was one scene when I had to smile. The officer asked me which eye color I have.  Without looking in my face he decided to blue. That\u0092s right as all Germans have blue eyes. But I want to correct him and said \u0093They are green\u0094.
