Als würdig erwies uns hierbei „The Joyce on Fourth“.

English
There are some days which are very strange for a Central European like us. One of these days is St. Patrick’s which was celebrated on Tuesday last week.

St. Patrick was a Saint who was Welsh and won the hearts of his Irish Captors so much that he converted them from Pagan to Catholic and drove the snakes out of Ireland with his big Crozier. There are a lot of celebrations in Ireland and all over the world. So we also had fun on Tuesday here in Calgary.

A big advantage is that there is an Irish colleague in the project. He organized some Guinness hats for us, so that we were well dressed for the pub in the evening. When we arrived in there at 19h30, there was a small queue in front of the pub, but we needed quick time to come into. So the fun could start. Good Irish music, good Irish beer. What do you need else? The highlight on this night was a bagpiper band which made a really good noise.
