\nWir haben Mitte April und an den B\u00e4umen ist immer noch kein einziges Blatt zu sehen. Wenn der Fr\u00fchling also nicht zu uns kommt, fliegen wir halt in den Fr\u00fchling hinein. Am vorletzten Freitag brachen John, Monika, Christoph und ich auf, der sagenhaften Stadt San Francisco einen Besuch abzustatten.<\/p>\n

Zun\u00e4chst aber galt es, den Papierkrieg zu erledigen. Da wir faktisch in die USA einreisten, wurden von uns Fingerabdr\u00fccke abgenommen und die Augenstellung kontrolliert. Bei den Fingerabdr\u00fccken gab es bei mir ein paar Probleme. Da mein linker Zeigefinger etwas zu kurz geraten ist, wollte der Computer nicht akzeptieren, dass es meine linke Hand und nicht meine rechte sei. Der freundliche Grenzbeamte best\u00e4tigte aber die Richtigkeit, so dass ich nach San Francisco einreisen durfte.<\/p>\n

Unser Hotel lag unweit des weltbekannten Fisherman’s Wharf, so dass wir gleich am Abend dieses genauer erkunden konnten. Zahlreiche Bars und Restaurant luden zum kurzen Verweilen ein. So lie\u00dfen wir dann den Abend im Dirty Martini ausklingen.<\/p>\n

\nIt is in the middle of April and the trees in Calgary are still not green. If the spring does not want to come to us, we have to fly to the spring. So Christoph, John, Monika and I did fly to San Francisco last weekend.<\/p>\n

But before we could start, we had to fill out a lot of forms. Otherwise we had to present our fingerprints and also a picture of our face. I had some troubles with my fingerprints, as my left index finger is shorter than normal. So the computer thought I put my right hand on. The friendly officer could confirm that it is my left hand, so that I could join into the United States of America.<\/p>\n

Our hotel was located near Fisherman’s Wharf so that we could easily explore the nearly environment. We found some bars and restaurants, we had some beers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
