Am Samstag ging es dann so richtig los. Zun\u00e4chst einmal hie\u00df es fr\u00fch aufstehen, um im Boudin ordentlich fr\u00fchst\u00fccken zu gehen. Hierbei handelt es sich um die \u00e4lteste B\u00e4ckerei von San Francisco, die ein umfangreiches Sortiment an Backwaren zur Verf\u00fcgung stellt.<\/p>\n

\"Alcatraz\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Frisch gest\u00e4rkt begaben wir uns nun zur Bushaltestelle der Hop-On-Hop-Off-Busse, mit denen eine Stadtrundfahrt durch San Francisco m\u00f6glich war. Das Sch\u00f6ne daran ist, dass die Tickets 48 Stunden g\u00fcltig sind und man jederzeit aus- oder einsteigen kann. So erlebten wir auf den Oberdeck eines Doppelstockbuses den Financial District, den Union Square, den Golden Gate Park, die Six Sisters und nat\u00fcrlich die Golden Gate Bridge.<\/p>\n

Zur\u00fcck am Fisherman’s Wharf kamen wir dann zur dritten Station eines ereignisreichen Tages – die Golden Gate Bridge mit dem Fahrrad zu \u00fcberqueren. Hierzu konnte man direkt Fahrr\u00e4der ausleihen. Zwar hatten wir etwas Pech, dass sich die Br\u00fccke langsam mit Nebel zuzog, aber trotzdem gab es spektakul\u00e4re Blicke auf die Skyline. Die kleine Radtour lie\u00dfen wir dann auf der anderen Seite der Br\u00fccke bei einem Radler ausklingen. Eine F\u00e4hre brachte uns wieder zur\u00fcck nach Frisco.<\/p>\n

\"San<\/a><\/p>\n

Sobald wir die Fahrr\u00e4der wieder abgegeben haben, ging es zu Fu\u00df Richtung Downtown, um die markantesten Punkte wie Lombard Street, Pyramide und Union Square abzulaufen. Zur\u00fcck ging es dann von dort mit der Cable Car zum Fisherman’s Wharf, wo der Abend bei herrlichem Seafood sein Ende fand.<\/p>\n

\nOn Saturday the day starts very early. Our first destination was the Boudin bakery near Fisherman’s Wharf. It is one of the oldest bakeries in San Francisco. We had a good breakfast with fresh coffee.<\/p>\n

After breakfast we went directly to the bus station where the hop-on-hop-off-buses are starting to a sightseeing trip. The best thing on these kinds of buses is that the ticket is valid for 48 hours and you can hop on\/ hop off at any time. On the top of the bus we get an overview over the important sightseeing places in Frisco – Financial District, Union Square, Golden Gate Park, Six Sisters and of course – the Golden Gate Bridge.<\/p>\n

\"Golden<\/a><\/p>\n

Back at Fisherman’s Wharf we did our third activity on this day – a bicycle tour over the Golden Gate Bridge. We did rent the bikes directly at Fisherman’s Wharf. Unlikely the bridge was getting foggy, but nevertheless we had spectacular views to the skyline. The bicycle tour ended in a small restaurant on the other side of the bridge where we had some shanties. A ferry brought us back to Fisherman’s Wharf.<\/p>\n

After we got back the bikes, we had a foot walk to the Downtown of Frisco where we passed Lombard Street, the Transamerica Pyramid and the Union Square. A cable car brought us back to Fisherman’s Wharf, where we had finally fresh seafood at an Italian restaurant.<\/p>\n
