Die Wahl fiel hierbei auf ein griechisches Restaurant mit dem Namen &#8222;Broken Plate&#8220;. Haben die griechischen Restaurants in Deutschland eher einen rustikalen Charme, war dieses Lokal mehr auf Schikimiki getrimmt. Wei\u00dfe St\u00fchle, wei\u00dfe Tische und anfangs etwas Bum-Bum-Musik aus den Lautsprechern.<\/p>\n<p>Daf\u00fcr hat das Essen sehr lecker geschmeckt. Wir hatten zuerst ein paar k\u00f6stliche Vorspeisen und danach einen leckeren Spie\u00df. Leider gab es den obligatorischen Ouzo nicht gratis dazu. Man musste ihn schon bezahlen. Dies lie\u00df uns aber nicht weiter st\u00f6ren. Ein kurzes &#8222;Yamas&#8220; und schon war der edle G\u00f6ttertrunk in unseren M\u00e4gen verschwunden.<\/p>\n<p><strong>English<br \/>\n<\/strong>On Wednesday this week we went to a Greek restaurant having dinner. The restaurant is called &#8222;Broken Plate&#8220; and is located in Kensington. In Germany the Greek restaurants are very popular as they are rustically. Here in Calgary the restaurant was a little bit snobby. White chairs, white tables and strange music from the speakers.<\/p>\n<p>But the food was excellent. We had some good appetizers and as main course the &#8222;Alexander Sword&#8220;. This kind of kebab was really good. After this we ordered an ouzo. In Germany you get it for free, but in Calgary we had to pay for it.
