Kaum angekommen, ging es sportlich auch schon wieder in die Vollen. Bereits am 12. Mai wurde im Projekt wieder Fußball gespielt. Dieses Mal hatte ich sogar meine Torwarthandschuhe mitgenommen, so dass nichts schief gehen konnte.
Im Verlauf der zwei Stunden versuchte ich mich später auch noch als defensiver Mittelfeldspieler, wobei mir ein sehr schönes Tor gelang. Natürlich gab es auch wieder Verletzte an diesem Abend. Kat hatte sich den Knöchel verdreht und musste die darauffolgende Woche auf Krücken gehen.

Scarcely had I arrived in Calgary, I had to play soccer with the project team. On 12th of May we met us in the local indoor arena and had fun. At this turn I brought also my goalie gloves to Canada, so that I was well prepared for the matches.
During the two hours I played also the position in the midfield, where I made a fantastic goal for our team. Unfortunately some guys get injured too. Kat compressed her ankle and had to walk with crutches the whole week.
